Semen Retention is Pseudo Spiritual Bullshit
Partager
Semen retention, the practice of abstaining from ejaculation, has become a popular trend in recent years. Men are always on the hunt to get the edge on their competition. However, this practice is nothing but a bunch of bullshit that can be detrimental to our mental and physical well-being.
The lie and the truth
The supposed benefits of semen retention range from increased energy, focus, and productivity to heightened sexual pleasure and enhanced masculine power. This claim is based on the idea that semen contains vital nutrients and hormones that are lost through ejaculation, and that by retaining it, these nutrients and hormones can be reabsorbed by the body. But these claims have no scientific basis whatsoever. Literally pulled out of their ass and sadly not out of their sack.
Semen retention can lead to a buildup of anxious energy that can’t be released through any other means except ejaculation. This buildup can cause stress, irritability, and even physical discomfort, making it counterproductive to the supposed benefits of the practice. While it may be helpful short-term for this purpose, you’re much healthier, creative, productive, and loveable when you’re relaxed.
Cum on, man!
Regular orgasms, whether through masturbation or sex, have many benefits for people with penises. They not only help to release built-up tension but also promote relaxation and mental clarity. They can even help to reduce stress, anxiety, and depression. On a physical level, One study found that men who ejaculated at least 21 times per month were less likely to develop prostate cancer than those who ejaculated less frequently. Another study found that men who ejaculated more frequently had better sperm quality and higher testosterone levels.
On a psychological level, many people don’t realize that men receive a quiet confirmation to live every time we nut. I mean that both humorously and in a literal sense. All the chemicals released when we orgasm complete a satisfaction circuit for one of our most base human desires: acceptance. Admittedly this one is a bit fluffy and spiritual but there is a neuro and evo psychological basis for the theory. It’s far more supported than nutrient multiplication through reabsorption at least.
Or ride the edge
It is true that ejaculating too much can make you feel drained and sore. So, I’m not telling you to cum more than your dick wants, just the right amount. In fact, I usually advocate for the practice of edging instead of semen retention to get more sexual pleasure without draining your energy.
The concept of orgasm without ejaculation, also known as edging, can be an excellent way to increase sexual pleasure and improve stamina. However, abstaining from ejaculation altogether can lead to a loss of libido and sexual dysfunction. Use it or lose it as the old adage goes.
So why are people still buying into this nonsense? It could be because semen retention feeds into the toxic idea that men must constantly prove their masculinity and virility. But the truth is that true masculinity involves taking care of oneself and prioritizing our mental and physical health. Don’t be fooled by the supposed benefits, and instead prioritize regular orgasms for optimal mental and physical well-being.
