Embracing the Energy of 2024: A Year of Art, Growth, and Infinite Possibility
Partager
Earlier this year, I talked about 2024’s universal 8 energy—a numerology symbol of abundance, mastery, and full-circle moments. Everything we’ve learned and built over the last decade is now coming to a head, promising a time of flowing success and breakthroughs. Sure, that’s a heavy mantle to carry, but I embraced it as a challenge, and it’s paid off in every way.
The Butters is Thriving Like Never Before
This year, The Butters has seen its best sales yet, and we’re only 70% through! Our latest product launches have been met with more love than ever, and behind the scenes, things are running as smooth as our lubes.
On a personal note, 2024 has also been a year of profound growth. I’m closer to my friends and family, healthier than I’ve been in a decade, and thriving mentally. As a dual diagnosis AuDHD Daddy, that's Academy Award level performance. My cat Ezekiel Jermaine Fernandez Nichols Esq. continues to be my delightful, fuzzy, void-adjacent, darkness-loving sidekick, adding daily joy to my life. He's literally curled up next to me as I write this.
Art and Culture: A New Renaissance
It’s not just us; 2024 has been a year of unprecedented creativity. From movies (My Penguin Friend, Thelma, Blink Twice) and music (Kaytranada, GloRilla, Kitty, Beyonce) to podcasts (Hard or Soft) and literature (Venom War Comic Series, Everyone on this Train is a Suspect Novel), we’re feasting on a buffet of classic and innovative art forms. This feels like a new Renaissance—a time that future generations will look back on as a pinnacle of human creativity and progress.
Living in the Now
As the year winds down, I’ve been focusing on capturing the little moments—making more art, taking more photos, and soaking in every bit of sunshine with my loved ones. I’ve been giving raises, making playlists, and building an archive of memories and joy.
Un-Bog Yourself
If you’re feeling out of touch or bogged down by the noise online, know you’re not alone. We’re on a global upswing of possibility, and though we might not afford as much, what matters more than ever is how we spend our time.
My Grandma Nichols didn’t believe in boredom, and neither do I. If you’re feeling low, don’t scroll endlessly. Clean something, make something, sleep, or find a way to lift someone else’s spirits. Downtime is free—and the most profitable investment you’ll ever make.
So, if you’ve felt bogged down, now’s your time to un-bog. The year’s still got three months left, and they’re brimming with opportunity. I’ll see you out there, making the most of every beat life’s got to offer.
Stay blessed, stay moving, and keep making magic.
