How it works:

• Sorbitol - Functions much like glycerin. It adds slip for easier detangling and works as a humectant, drawing moisture from air to into it. Helps your hair, skin and the bar stay moisture balanced. It's most often used as a sweetener in food.

• Water - I heard someone once say that humans are plants with more complicated emotions. Like the shrub

• Aloe - It provides 20 of the 22 human-required amino acids and eight of the eight essential amino acids. Aloe vera contains many vitamins and minerals vital for proper growth and function of all the body’s systems. Aloe vera contains antioxidant vitamins A, C and E — plus vitamin B12, folic acid and choline. It contains eight enzymes, including aliiase, alkaline phosphatase, amylase, bradykinase, carboxypeptidase, catalase, cellulase, lipase and peroxidase. Minerals such as calcium, copper, selenium, chromium, manganese, magnesium, potassium, sodium and zinc are present in aloe vera. It provides 12 anthraquinones — or compounds known as laxatives. Among these are aloin and emodin, which act as analgesics, antibacterials and antivirals. Four fatty acids are present, including cholesterol, campesterol, beta-sisosterol and lupeol — all providing anti-inflammatory results.

• Argan oil: Aragn oil is high in Vitamin E, omega-6 & 9 fatty acids, linoleic acid, antioxidants, and trocopeherols. It's great for collecting frizzy hair, moisturizing, balancing skin& hair oils, evening stretch marks, increasing skin elasticity, eases inflammation, strengthening nails, preventing chapped lips, treat rashes, and bug bites. People with oily skin and hair will find the lightness of Argan oil a great option. Everyone else, will benefit from the nutrients when mixed with other oils. It's actually one of the most powerful natural all-purpose solutions for skin, hair, scalp, and nails.

• Kokum butter - A powerful emollient. Rich in essential fatty acids, vitamin e, antioxidants. More research is needed on it's full nutritional value. Works well at sealing tissues and moisturizing. This is a fruit butter similar to mango butter, hailing from India. Like shea butter, argan, and hempseed oil, it's a zero on the comedogenic scale, meaning it's unlikely to clog pores.

• Silk protein: Silk aka hydrolyzed Silk aka silk protein aka silk amino acids are obtained from the naturally discarded cocoon of the silkworm. The amino acids themselves are the binding agent that is found within the filaments of silk. It easily bonds with the keratin found in your hair to create a protective layer that helps keep moisture from escaping while also adding luster to your hair’s overall appearance. Easily absorbed into skin providing similar benefits. Helps with the elasticity and tensile strength of hair and skin.

• Marshmallow Root - Soothes eczema, psoriasis, and dry scalp. Rich in protein and vitamins. Provides incredible slip to detangle the hair easier. When left on it helps seal strands for the long term.

• Bamboo extract - This edible grass is rich in nutrients and vitamins unique to it. Offers soothing for eczema, and topical skin issues. Offers anti-inflammatory, antibacterial, and antiviral properties similar to aloe.

• Carrageenan - A botanical extract is from red algae and some kinds of sea weeds. It's nutrient rich, has excellent water binding properties. Works great as a detangler.

• Saponified Coconut Oil - This is the cleanser. Fat turned soap. Saponification is the name of the change process

• Sodium Hydroxide - this is what changes the fat to soap and provides the bubbliness

• Propylene Glycol - AKA artificial tears. Makes products like shampoos and soap bars less irritating to eyes

• Saponified Palm Stearic Acid - This is a harder oil that helps soap bars keeps it form, while also offering gentle cleansing
