My new Rose Quartz bath bomb is such a treat! The crystal is said to enhance one's ability to love, open the love chakra and make that love more energetic! To capture that spirit, I mixed pink sparkle mica and a bright rose pink color, plus red gold shimmer to add depth. Many people go for floral scents when working with rose quartz. I'm a fan but wanted something that smelled like joy, love, and excitement to me. So, I added real organic lavender flowers with white plum, and lemon orange blossom scents to create a wild and lively scent worth of this great stone.

Ingredients: Baking soda, citric acid, epsom salt, cornstarch, polysorbate 80, food coloring, fragrance, lavender, mica

Instructions:

  1. Draw a super-hot bath, stay safe and be comfy. Warm is fine, but hot makes more action.

  2. Drop the bomb in.

  3. Enjoy.

Bath bomb lovers note: Make sure to play with the bomb in the bath some time, it feels really cool.

What're bath Bombs?

Bath bombs are like really, really big Alka-Seltzer tables that bubble and fizz when they hit the water. Usually they're made of baking soda, cream of tartar, and citric acid with some sort of binder like oil. Sometimes they also have scents, colors, salts, herbs, flowers, glitter, or other cool stuff to help your bath set or match your mood.

You'll usually see bath bombs as spheres or hemispheres, but there can be hearts, gems, stones, cars, animals and more. You can also find loose bath bombs called bath fizzies, but the shaped options are most popular.
